Victoria's Quilts Canada invited Hon. Jim Watson, Minister of Consumer and Business Services and MPP (Ottawa West-Nepean), and GRT member Barbara Symington to stitch together an OTF funding announcement. A $37,500 OTF grant will be used to purchase equipment and materials for volunteers to provide handmade quilts and support to individuals undergoing cancer treatment in Ottawa, Cornwall and Renfrew County.
