The Ontario Trillium Foundation is riding to the rescue with a one-year $24,800 grant for the Canadian Fire Fighter’s Museum in Port Hope. Lou Rinaldi, MPP (Northumberland), and GRT member Alan Strike gathered by an antique fire engine as the news was announced at the local fire hall. The grant will help establish a primary school program on the history of firefighting in Port Hope. It will also support the redesign the museum's website for teaching and marketing purposes.
