At the Rotary Club of Bowmanville’s 100th Anniversary celebration, John O’Toole, MPP (Durham), and GRT member Bruce Wright announced that the community service club has received a $68,700 grant to develop a family-oriented garden park next to the historic Visual Arts Centre of Clarington. There will be art stations for outside showings of artwork as well as an amphitheatre for cultural events. Club President Kevin Anyan thanked the Foundation for helping to make this project possible.
