The Sarnia Snowfest hosts an annual International Snow Sculpting Competition that brings teams of competitors from countries as far away as Argentina, China, The Netherlands, India and Mexico. Sculptors from around the world traveled to Sarnia to carve out eight-foot blocks of snow into works of art. Ensuring reliable and high quality clean snow maintains the reputation of the Sarnia Snowfest as a world-class event. OTF funded $46,700 toward snow and ice making equipment as well as hiring a professional ice carver to conduct a two-day seminar to benefit artists in the community.
